Success Stories

The Smart Restaurateur gives the success stories of four smokefree restaurants that have been smokefree since the early and middle 1990s. They're urban and suburban, large and small, gourmet and basic. Three have liquor licenses and bars; one is connected to a large liquor store. Three also have smokefree outdoor dining.

All the restaurants:

  • used to allow smoking
  • were hesitant to go smokefree
  • are adamant they would never go back to allowing smoking.
