Smokefree Restaurant Search

As of April 15, 2006, the New Jersey Smoke-Free Air Act requires all restaurants and bars be 100% smokefree. No additions or corrections were made to the New Jersey database since April 15, 2006. This online searchable database serves as a model for other organizations that would like to develop a similar database of smokefree restaurants if their jurisdiction does not yet require 100% smokefree restaurants.

About the restaurants on this site:
  • They are entirely smokefree indoors, but may be in a mall or hotel that is not entirely smokefree.

  • All are eat-in, sit-down places where you can get at least a light meal.

  • Restaurants with alcoholic beverage service, including those with 100% smokefree bars, have those features listed. For a list of all New Jersey restaurants with alcoholic beverage service, click here.

  • Chain restaurants are not listed individually in our searchable database. Lists of chains with smokefree dining will appear at the end of your search results.

  • Every restaurant was verified by phone by New Jersey GASP. Please report additional restaurants or changes to New Jersey GASP. Click here for an e-mail form.
