11/21/13: Island of Hawaii raises age of sale for tobacco products to 21

On November 20, 2013, the County of Hawaii (Island of Hawaii) voted to raise the age to 21, to sell tobacco and electronic smoking devices. The Mayor of the County of Hawaii is expected to sign the bill into law. It takes effect on July 1, 2014 and grandfathers in persons age 19-20. Read the November 21, 2013 Hawaii Tribune news story."
