3/25/14: Elizabeth makes parks and municipal building property 100% smokefree

On March 25, 2014, the Elizabeth City Council passed an ordinance to ban smoking in all municipal parks and recreational areas, as well as on the municipal grounds that surround their municipal buildings, including adjacent parking lots.
