4/8/14: Washington Township bans smoking in public parks
4/8 Washington Township joins 24 other communities in Bergen county to have adopted smoking bans in public parks. The ordinance which prohibits smoking in any township-owned park, playground, field or recreational facility, was adopted by the council on April 7. Read a news article about the ban.
